Help with Button tutorial

Hi,
I was trying to follow this lesson and stuck on #10. The black layer fills the whole layer and not just inside the circle. While we're here, where would I get info on how to put other patterns or 'scrapbook paper' on the button, instead of just the solid colors selection?

Hi ...

I think you problem is at step 9 .. you need to go to the layers palette and Control Click (Mac: Command Click) on the Button Back layer to regain the selection (the marching ants around the button shape).

But then make sure that the new shadow layer is still the active layer in the layers palette (just single click on that layer in the layers palette and that will select it)

Once you have done that then only the circle will fill with black :)

As far as scrapbook papers ... well I usually use my own as I design scrapbook kits so I do tend to use my own.
