I have purchased a card template (which is not layered).
On the template it has instructions/labels for fold line etc.
Now I want to print directly onto the card without any cropping.
How do I get rid of these lines.
When I crop them off, it changes the entire layout when printed.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Mel:)

I am not sure I understand. Can you post a screenshot of the template?
If the template is just for lining things up I would put it on its own layer and turn that off before printing. You could adjust the opacity so you can see the lines while placing items.
If there are elements for the card itself on the template I guess I would copy and paste them to a new layer.

Thanks.
Keep forgetting about those layers!!!
That fixed that problem.
Next problem:o
On the inside of my card I have text and a couple of brushes. HOwever, if I make a mistake with brushes I have to delete (undo) everything that I have done to get to the mistake. I tried making seperate layers for each of the brushes but that didn't work.
Any suggestions?
Secondly, to add the brushes I had to simplify.
But if I want to edit my text I have to undo everything.
Help pleaseeeeeeee:confused:

I think the problem is you are trying to draw with your brushes on the text layer. It will ask you to simplify before you can use the brush.
Create a new layer first and be sure it is active before using your brush.
Why didn't making separate layers for each brush work?
