View Full Version : File Browser Replacement

It isn't a complete replacement for the File Browser but it is close. Click on the "open" icon at the top of the page. When it opens, expand it to fill the working space (the next time it opens it will open like that). Go to the right of the file selection bar, click on the blue square and select "thumbnails" (mine comes up in "list" form so I have to select thumbnails every time). There is your file browser! On the left is a column with several useful selections. This is a very nice way to work and very easy to get to. Perhaps Adobe just assumed that we are all as savvy as they are and would figure this out on our own. Maybe they address it in their v4 manual somewhere. If not, it would have been a nice touch. Anyway, my problem is solved. Now I can work on the "magic" tools some more. I can't let a single day go by without a little frustration!
