Hi,
This is my try at a montage (I think that's what it's called).
I know that I've used the images before but they lent themselves to the effect I had in mind.
I'm not sure if if it worked or not.

Hi Kev ..
Hey thats not bad for a first try ... well done!
How did you blend your images together ... did you use a mask?

Hi Wendy,
I'm not sure how to use a mask so I used the merge tool. First of all I put a selection round the photo to stop the colours of the merge from going all over the page.
I'm using PE4 and am not sure if it has a mask tool.

Hi Kev ...
No PSE4 doesn't have mask ... I just thought you may have downloaded the PET one or Grant's :)
A mask gives you a lot more flexibliity as you simply paint on it in black to hide parts of your image and then paint on it in white to reveal it again. You can use softbrushes at a low opacity and get a nice smooth transistion between the images ... you can even use a black & white gradient on the mask. Now that gives an interesting effect :)

Wendy,
Thanks for the info.
I've got Grant's mask, so over the next few days I'll give it a whirl.
Going to miss the party Friday night as we're off to Jersey on Thursday for a long weekend.
How will I survive without the Forum?
Am having an early night tonight so Good Night.
Kev.
