Hey guys, I'm not sure if this thread is in the right place or not; if it needs to be moved go ahead and do so.<3

I just recently encountered a problem opening my Photoshop Elements 3.0 program today. Its really weird because it was working earlier today. The problem being that I would go to open it by double clicking on the icon and it would start reading the files like normal. But about half way through a little popup will say "Style Files are bad or corrupted".

Now, I've tried system restore to see if that would fix the problem, and it didn't. I reinstalled three times, and that didn't work either. I've deleted the pref file in the Photoshop application data folder. I'm really not sure what else to do and am at a loss.

I rely heavily on PSE for my work, and cant afford to buy any other versions of photoshop at the moment. Any and all help on the matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

If it helps any my operating system is as follows:

ntel® Celeron® M Processor 380 (1.60 GHz/400MHz FSB/1M L2 Cache)
LCD Panel 15.4in WXGA Display
Memory 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 2 Dimm
Video Card Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900 Graphics
Hard Drive 60GB 5400rpm Hard Drive
Operating System Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition
Integrated Modem and NIC Internal 56K Modem and Integrated Network Card
Adobe Software Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 7.0

If any more information is needed, I'll be glad to try and provide it.

Please and thanks~

Hi TGD,

Try doing a search on your issue. I tried one and there are several threads on that same issue.

From the blue menu strip at the top, click on Search and use the input box at the bottom to do a Google search of this site, such as this example:

Good luck.
