hi, i have an premiere elements 2.0 and i had it for almost an year now
but recently when i try to export a project it always freezes half way
and i tried it with some previous projects which allowed me to export regular
and when i made a copy of that file that freezes the first time it allows me to export
but sometimes it makes the media files offline
is this happening because of the project or something else?
please help me ><;

1. What exactly do you have on the Timeline that you try to export? File format, length, types of Timeline markers, etc? What is the source of this file? If it is an AVI file, what type of AVI is it? AVI Motion JPEG, AVI MPEG4, DV AVI? Please answer this question for the project the used to work as well as for this current file that is not working.
2. Also, please clarify....at this time, are ALL projects not Exporting properly OR is it just this one project?
3. Of prime importance, just what is your Export route?
Let us start here.
To be continued

mp3 music and some avi-s which i think are DV-coded the length is 4min and 21sec.
It is just this project for right now
And my export route is either avi or wmv but when i try to export them both they both stop half way and freezes.

You did not indicate how, if at all, this file differs from the ones that worked previously. If you run one of your files that worked previously, does it still work?
I would like a better idea if these files are DV AVI or something else, but take a look at the link below on how to use Windows Movie Maker to create a DV AVI that might work in Premiere Elements.

Even if problems have the same outward appearance they may have vastly difference cause/effect. So, more details gives us a better chance at helping you.
