I'm a novice user of PE4. I Just replaced PS5/PE3 with PS6/PE4. I have experience with slideshows but limited experience with the audio part.

Can you load two different songs in PE4 in a slideshow and have one fade out to begin the next one? Can you change where a song starts e.g. remove an instrumental intro?

thks

The following link may address your question about audio fade in/fade out

When you get to Premiere Elements 3 and 4, you have the option of working in the Sceneline or Timeline. I find it much easier and more in control using the Timeline view. With regard to Sceneline, video audio will be embedded and you will not see a track for it (it is visible in Timeline view as Audio 1). In Sceneline, you will have a place for Narration as well as Soundtrack track. In the Timeline, you will have Audio 1, Narration, and Soundtrack tracks.

There is no Fit Audio to Video button in Premiere Elements as in Photoshop Elements.
