ability to record actions

I'd love to see a way to record actions in Elements. Paint Shop Pro and Photo Impact both can record macros(actions) why not Elements? It would sure make repetitive tasks easier!

I suspect that Adobe are never going to add this to Elements ... as they do have to maintain the gap between Elements and Photoshop ..

.. but it would be nice if they did :)

I agree with the original poster. I don't think it's a case of maintaining the gap, it's about being competitive with other programs in the same price range.

To maintain the gap they just need to keep adding to Photoshop. There are plenty of other features in full Photoshop that Elements doesn't have (paths, warp, define custom shapes, just to name a few off the top of my head).
