Elements Compatibility with Leopard

I just moved to the Mac platform.
In the past PC days I was beginning to use PE6. Now I await it's release for my Mac.
In the meantime, will any of the older Mac versions of PE work on my Leopard OS?

If you have access to PSE4 for mac, you might give that a try, but PSE6 for mac is so close to release, would probably be less hassle to wait.
