Iv'e spent half my day trying to figure out how to manipulate my drop shadows so they'll show up to the left of my image, instead of just to the right and bottom. Does anyone know how to do that? or know of any sw additions that would automate it?
thanks,
Nathan

Nathan,

After you've applied a drop shadow to your layer, you'll notice a new little symbol on the layer in the Layers palette. (In some versions it is a cursive "f", in others, it is a little sun-burst) Double click the symbol to open the Style Settings dialog.

Here, you can adjust the Drop Shadow settings via the sliders, or put your cursor in the image window and click-drag manually.

Another way to try "stacking" shadows - add a shadow - simplify the layer - then add another shadow and change directions.
