Well, I have a great tut for brushed metal, and a great tut for engraving on stone...now does anyone have one on engraving on metal??:D

Nancy-thanks so much, that's exactly what I meant. Looks like an interesting site as well. Yeah, Gary. please share!
And while I have you here-something fishy in Elements (4)-and I'm afraid it's probably gonna be a DUH moment or at best a DOH! My layer styles aren't visible as I apply them-and yet the layers palette shows the circled f and when you open that up it shows that the styles have been applied. Any ideas?

I haven't looked at the tut you posted so maybe the same way.
Just a text layer on top of the brushed metal look (could have been better) with a bevel style applied to the text and visibility set to off.:)
