Adobe® Photoshop® Elements Techniques question

I'd like to know if anyone here subscribes to the Adobe® Photoshop® Elements Techniques newsletter. I have also been trying to find out if there is an Educator's discount on the $49 annual subscription fee. Regardless, I'd love to hear some feedback on how good it is from other forum members.

By the way, I wasn't sure which forum to post this in. Hope this is the correct place.

Although there are many other Subscribers more knowledgeable than I - I can give you my $0.02.

I have been a Subscriber for about a year and really look forward to my Newsletter. Its always full of great information and techniques to be learned.

Remember that in addition to the Newsletter, you also get to check out the Subscriber area with its over 200 video tutorials, more written tutorials, plus some down-loadable tools and Extras.

All in all, a fabulous resource for learning to fully utilize this wonderful program.

Don't know about discounts, but I have never heard anyone talk about one. :o

I had to talk myself into getting a subscription - but have never regretted it!

Ditto from me Edwin. If you want to move ahead with Elements then subscribing is the way to go. (And it's great fun trying out all the tuts)

Edwin-this forum is a child of PET (Photoshop Elements Techniques) and their newsletter. There are tons and tons of people here who subscribe, and have for a few years now. IMO it is absolutely worth every penny-the newsletter is informative and fun. More important, however is that for your 49 bucks you get waaaay more than the mag-you have access to hundreds of written and video tutorials on the site. I'm a teacher and as far as I know there's now educators discount. Let us know if you have any other q's:), but I'd say go for it!

Yes, plus access to the online training is a great benefit. I keep all of my old issues for reference.

Definitely worth it. I have been a subscribing for years(only missed 1st 3 issues) and is my favorite mag. Subscriber section alone would be well worth it.

Welcome to the forum. A lot of us here are subscribers and have been for a few years. IMHO it's been worth every penny as has been stated above. I don't think though that they give an Educator's discount. (Just be thankful it's only $49 for you - those of us abroad have to fork out $85 - and we still think it's worth every penny!!!!!)
