I am thinking about buying Premier Element 4.0. Any body know if I can create subtitles using this software?. According to http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ Powerdirector is the only one supporting subtitles.
I wanted to add the datecode from the DV files into subtitles so that i will know when the video was recorded with out permanatly buring it into video.
Thank you for your help.

Not very easily.
I did find this suggestion by Robert Johnson posted in another forum:

Check it out and see if it could be a solution for you. But, I would suggest that you download the free 30 day tryout version of Premiere Elements to see if this technique works for you.

Reply in this thread if necessary. But, please place all future Premiere Elements questions in the Premiere Elements Forum so that they do not get lost in the Photoshop Elements issues.
