Elements 5 compared to Elements 6

I currently own elements 5 and thinking about upgrading to elements 6. Just wondering if this is really worthwhile?

Lots of different opinions on this but in my case I would say yes it's definitely worthwhile but it doesn't cost anything to try it and see if you like it. See this thread...

I agree try before you buy. I like the new features in 6 but I find that it is slower and freezes on me. I can't get my scanner to work (works in 5). However if your machine can handle it, and the trial is free, why not try it?

I purchased v6 but still use 5. I'm having a hard time converting over to 6. I know I'll have to make myself use it sooner or later.

I use v6 when I want to use one of its new features, but the dark background bugs me and it does act a little differently than 5 in some ways.

Definitely go for the Free Trial.

When I downloaded the free trial for v5, I never went back to v4, but I'm just not as sold on v6 as I am on v5.
