Wendy and Mary...

I thumbed through it during dinner. A 2005 Bonus Edition is included for version 4. I'll stick around for drinks, semidry white for me. It's early evening here, 7 pm. Saturday night...7 pm...my favorite programs on public tv are from the BBC and CBC. Can I read the newsletter and watch Ballykissangle at the same time.

Well I enjoyed my drink. Thanks Eva! At least I wasn't drinking alone. I had all my internet buddies with me.

Good try Gary. Considering he's staying in the city a couple days a week, I'll take my chances with the mail service. And if I hear them mention the SNOW word on the radio one more time, I'm going to have to turn it off!!!

MikeH

I went to bed "early" and missed the Eva in the chair

Ya well bratty Thomas, PM'd me to get me to sign up to MSN, just before I was going to bed and I ended up staying up past midnight chatting with Gary, Grant, Ray and Sherry!! I went to bed with my head whirling from all that speed reading and trying to keep up with everything!! It was fun though. Good think I only had one drink!

Wendy
October 23rd, 2005, 12:28 PM
Pauline ....

Sounds like it was good fun ... :)

Wendy

Pauline
October 23rd, 2005, 12:58 PM
actually it was fun, but I had plenty of schezophrenia moments. Not that I have schezophrenia, but it must be what it feels like!! Thomas went to bed after he got us all going ,and sometimes with 5 people we had a couple different subjects going! You kind of had to piece things together. My mind was whirling. My e-mail messages were popping up and it was all I could do to try and keep track of things. It was pretty fun though. I will miss next Sat.'s big night since I will be at a Halloween party. Usually not much happens around here Sat night, so it's a good night for some fun with friends. Poor Sherry was outnumbered by us Canadians!! All of us that were on live relatively close to each other. Well Ray is the farthest with Montreal. That's about a 7 hr drive from me.

Pauline
October 24th, 2005, 04:56 PM
Gary, you're lying just to bug me aren't you? I know you are and that just isn't fair. I had a bad day today and could have used a nice newsletter as a pick me up. I can't even have a drink since I have 6 girls to pick up after their basketball game!!

GaryK
October 24th, 2005, 05:25 PM
Pauline

Sorry..not lying. I was very surprised though.

Pauline
October 24th, 2005, 05:42 PM
I'm surprised too! That was fast! Hopefully I won't have to wait a whole week longer than you. Not that I don't have enough to do or anything!
Took me all bloody day to finish lesson 7! Three attempts before I got it done!

CarolLHB
October 24th, 2005, 06:21 PM

Wendy
October 24th, 2005, 07:08 PM

Carol, ya, i know...got mine today too. Can't look at it yet either.....pretty cover tho ;) I've been sick for over a month now...2 colds are never better than one ! I can honestly say the latest is probably one of the worst I've ever had....tho I don't have too much to compare it to as I really am not the 'sickly catch every cold ' type of person. Get better sooner !

CarolLHB
October 24th, 2005, 08:30 PM
Are they soft tissues???

Thanks, guys-poor Jodi, I shouldn't complain-I've only been sick since Friday...fortunately I have a doctor's appointment for tomorrow anyway-so if this is a sinus infection, which I suspect it is, I'll be on the mend soon enough :) .

I do like the cover-like the PSE4 cover even better even though that one's not much use to me (although judging from all the posts, we're not missing much, eh Wendy  ?)

Thanks for the "feel betters"-they're working already!

Wendy
October 24th, 2005, 08:32 PM
Carol ...

Well they did say they were working on a Mac version :)

Wendy

CarolLHB
October 25th, 2005, 06:35 AM

Wendy
October 25th, 2005, 08:51 AM

I'll go tropical today--Mai Tai, please.
Still waiting in partly sunny California.

Mike, I like 4.0

Pauline
October 25th, 2005, 02:56 PM
Uh, can I have seconds? While that first one did put me out for the needed hours' sleep I'm a little depressed about the 3 bills that came in the mail. No PET magazine, BUT an advertisement from Adobe regarding elements 4!! Now that's just plain mean!

Oh and while laying down I had another 'mask' brainstorm, so it's off to try it out.

MikeH
October 25th, 2005, 03:17 PM
Sherry,

Mai Tai coming up... Pay cheque just arrived so an order maybe going off...

Pauline - I did think you'd started early, but here goes...

Mike

Pauline
October 25th, 2005, 03:35 PM

Wendy

That is so true ... they always say that the sun is over the yardarm somewhere in the world !!

May I have another glass of white wine please?

Wendy

MikeH
October 25th, 2005, 04:17 PM
Wendy,

Pheww this is proving an expensive round... good job Gary isn't here

Here you go Wendy another "large" glass of wine :)

Mike

jazzfisher
October 25th, 2005, 04:28 PM
Mike,
Maybe just give Wendy a box of wine less refills--unless you are serving the good stuff out of a bottle.

MikeH
October 25th, 2005, 04:36 PM
Sherry,

I only go for the good stuff out of a bottle... :) or more than one bottle

Jodi Frye
October 25th, 2005, 05:33 PM
Mike, my glass is drying out...what's a gal got to do around here to get a refill ? I have no boobs to hang on the bar and time is not
waiting for me...if ya know what I mean.

jazzfisher
October 25th, 2005, 05:43 PM

It would have to be a really small bar for me to hang anything on tooo!

CarolLHB
October 25th, 2005, 05:50 PM
Jodi!

Forget the Nyquil-I'll have a frozen mudslide! Don't wanna say what would happen to the bar if I...never mind...

Wendy
October 25th, 2005, 07:28 PM
Sherry,

I getting worried about who is going to drive the tour bus ... :)

Wendy

jazzfisher
October 25th, 2005, 07:34 PM
Wendy,
I think we better hire someone to drive the tour bus back to my house--you all can sleep on the floor or in tents in the back yard. We could probably make $$$ if we turn in all the wine bottles we empty to the the recycler!!!

Wendy
October 25th, 2005, 07:38 PM
Sherry ...

Its OK I will drive ... (I don't actually drink :) :)) ... well except here :)

A martini. Hmmmm I don't think I'm good at this bar thing. I don't even know how to make a martini and I think I used all the yucky olives on my
husband's half of the pizza. This is a tough group and I don't get out enough.

Hey any of you UK people know these places? my favorite Peter White is there performing this & next week:

I've heard of PizzaExpress in London and The Stables in Milton Keynes (the company I work for is based in Milton Keynes).. but I've never been to either of them.

So, how come you're not over here as the tour photographer then..?
