If your onOne palette is not open go to File>Automation Tools>onOne palette and Enlarge it.

or go to:Filter>onOne>Frame it and Cut-it-out and Make it better

I already had essentials working in 5.0. When I installed 6.0, the floating toolbox is not present and the file Automated tools is grayed out. Do I need to reinstall Essentials?
TIA

lotzaquestions: After I installed PSE 6 I found it necessary to reinstall Elements Essentials. Did you do that? Since it is a plug-in you have to treat it like all the other items you had in PSE 5. Reinstall them all. It is really a pain to have to install all the Actions, Plug ins, etc. everytime a new version is issued.

I have been very busy and have not been able to work that program yet, but I finally tried to get it going the other night. I realized even though I had installed it, it was not showing up in 5 or 6. I found I had to go to I think Edit, Preferences, and add the plug in. Then it worked in PSE 6. When I tried to do the same thing with PSE 5, it said that OnOnetoolbox2.dll was not there and I might need to reinstall the program. I realized that file was in the ProgramFiles/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 6.0. It had automatically loaded to 6, but not to 5, so I just copied the file, placed it in the same place in 5 and it worked. No uninstall, reinstall.

I still have not had time to play around. Maybe this weekend. Life just keeps getting in the way of my play time.

All the plug-in's? Drats I'll be working on this for days because i don't remember where I found the old plug ins and will have to search for them. Ughhhhh
I'm beginning to wonder if 6.0 is worth it.
Oh well, it's on my computer now, I may as well bite the bullet and get in the learning mode.
