I am making filmstrips from the videos in the subscriber area. I see some of the gallery pictures have curled filmstrips. Is there a way to make your own curled filmstrips?

Hi Tom ..

You can use the Sheer tool to bend film strips or Panos has some actions for curved ones .

... but I think that the ones in the gallery maybe downloaded templates :)

Hi Tom ...

I did a tut on using The Shear Tool :)

Here it is:

Using the Shear Filter ( http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2682)

.. and here is an image I did back in 2005 that used the technique on the film strip :)

Hope that it helps ...

Tom,

Whilst it's fun to make your own, they can be quite tricky unless you're going for something quite simple.

If you're interested in some amazing & FREE curled filmstrips in psd format take a look HERE (http://www.storeide.se/gunhild/index.htm) - don't be put off by the fact that it's all in Danish, just click on Scrapbooking on the lefthandside & there's a host of freebies including quite a few different filmstrips! (You need to scroll almost to the bottom to see them)
