HI all,
Just wondering if anyone had any feedback on a digi scrapbooking book "Digital and Hybrid Scrapbooking and card making with Photoshop Elements" by Patty Debowski?
It's not available here in Australia but was wondering whether it was any good for digi scrapping.
Thanks,
Mel

I'm not familiar with that book. The best source I have found, bar none, are the CD's by Linda Sattgast at www.scrappersguide.com (http://www.scrappersguide.com) . She teaches version specific lessons for Elements and Photoshop and the videos are very easy to follow.

I agree that Linda Sattgast's videos are very good. However, I have "Digital and Hybrid Scrapbooking and card making with Photoshop Elements (http://thedigitalscrapbookteacher.com)" by Patty Debowski and it is fantastic!! This book clearly teaches everything you would want to know about digital scrapbooking with Photoshop Elements. She thought of everything. Even what to do if you get stuck or have a problem. I like how it is written in simple English and I can follow along step by step. I also like that it contains a DVD with about 1000 pieces of digital scrapbooking art from many of my favorite digital artists. It's well worth looking into, I think. I know she will even ship to Australia.
I don't mean to sound like an advertisement, I am just really impressed with this book and all it contains. :)

Oh! Also, I found a bunch of comments on the book that you might find interesting and helpful. I found these at 2Peas (http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/mb.asp?cmd=display&thread_id=2447347). That way you don't have to just take my word on it! ;) Hope this helps.
PS: I have to make sure that when I show my other digi scrapping friends this book, that they don't borrow it! LOL! I insist that that they buy their own copy because I'm afraid I won't ever see it again!

I bought this book on a recommendation from someone here. I can't live without it. There are reviews on the website also. I am so glad I spent my money on this book instead of one of the others that focus more on photo enhancement. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. I recently tried to install some layer styles and tried using instructions from various websites, I couldn't get it to work and then I turned to this book. There is important information she included in the instructions that was never mentioned anywhere else. Jenny
