elements 5 cache !!!

Can anybody please tell me where i find the cache in elements 5 and also what i do to delete it ,and what do i delete. many thanks jon:confused:

Before I go ahead and tell you where the cache is, I guess I would need to know why you want to do this? It's not something that normally needs to be done.

Action install in a diffferent way in PSE5 and you donlt have to delete the cache in this version.

Here are the PSE5 instructions :)


Installing actions PSE5. First make sure that the "Show hidden folders and files" option is turned on in Windows. Then create a Shortcut on the desk top to:

C: Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>5.0>Photo Creations>Special Effects>Photo Effects

To install an action just create a new folder (if you need to), pop the .atn file (or files) in it and then drop the folder on the shortcut ... restart Elements and the action then shows up in Special Effects>Photo Effects.

P.S I got confused beacause some versions say when installing you must first delete the cache thanks again.

Its PSE3 & PSE4 that you need to delete the cache :)
