I cant find the answer to this - can I make a drop shadow any other colour than black? I did put the photo on its own layer, but that did not help. Thanks Jean

Jean, If you are using PSE5...
After you add a drop shadow there will be a small star-burst symbol to the right on that layer. Double click the symbol & menu will pop up. Click small black square on right & color picker will pop up. choose color from there.

Hello,
Just click the color swatch in the "Layer Style" window and choose any other color

PSE4 doesn't have this option :(:(

Not unless you have Jodi's Missing Styles - that gives you a selection of colored drop shadows.

Hi Janice ...

Just create your drop shadow on its own layer ... that way you can make then any colour you like and I think its a much more flexible way to do shadows :)

I probably could've figured out how to do some sort of colored shadow but I didn't know about blurring it.

I'm just bummed 'cause I want what you guys have. ;)

Hi Janice ...

I donlt tend to use the new coloured drop shadow .. I still tend to put it on its own layer as I think you can often get a better effect that way :)

I do have Jodi's Missing Styles on PSE3.0. I transferred the frames over to 5.0, but apparently not the coloured drop shadows.
Went onto 3.0, found the shadows and clicked 'copy'. Then went into 5.0, found the preset drop shadows, but there is no ability to paste anything into that file. So where do I put them? Would they go into their own folder? There are other parts of Missing Styles that I did not transfer, so how about those? Jean
