Coming from someone who knows how to use a scroll saw, I know the work involved. Great job Dorrie. I've got lots of painted boxes around here..............

Hello Dorrie, Sherry, Raffy, Badsquirrel, Linda and Bill--

The boxes are grand and my sidetrips to the galleries were a make-my-day. Badsquirrel, I haven't tried the cube, yet, but hope my effort will turn out half as well as yours and Dorrie's.

Welcome back. I'm hope it was a grand adventure. Everybody is doing those things now, they keep poping up everywhere. Was that a pad or a box full of them?

Gary - Yup - we had a great time. It's not really a box - just one of those notepad thingees but I'd just unpacked it and it seemed like it might make an interesting pic before I messed it all up by using it. Just stuck it on a piece of black card and shot in B&W to avoid having to worry about the color balance setting under the assortment of lights I had on at the time.

Shelly...

Thanks for the compliments. I've been off the site for a few days due to working a wood show. Have a lot of catching up to do. The cube is not really that hard to do, but linning up the edges takes a little practice.

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking in the background for several weeks now and have decided to jump in, feet first!

I like the boxes where the artist has thought outside the square.

Sherry's unusual approach of the wharehouse was great

The cat's eyes were a great addition to... (forgot to write down the name)

Badsquirrel the clouds behind your cube really make the cube stand out

Bill was also another one who thought outside the square

Shelley loved the effect with the subtle lighting

Mary what better box is there to use!

Maybe one day I will enter something but I am happy ejoying other peoples work for the time being.

I did think about putting something in this one but I was "at work" when I read the challenge. I volunteer at the Donnybrook Community Telecentre and it would probably have made a different type of picture with five computers in the frame! Unfortunately I did not have my camera and the Telecenter camera was out on a job.
