I'am 68 & trying to learn elements 6. One of my daughters gave it to me for xmas. Funny up untill now I thought that kid liked me.
Some of my questions my be very basic but here goes: What does the yellow question mark icon in the upper left corner of an thumbnail mean?
If you answer type slow as I don't move to fast anymore.
Thanks Dan

The file has been moved through Explorer and has become disconnected from the catalog. It doesn't know where to look for that image. You can click on that thumbnail and a search for it will begin. You can stop the search and manually reconnect since, of course, you know where you moved it to!
Sorry, I can't type slow:o

I'm 33 and just trying to navigate not only my new photoshop program, but my new Mac computer as well.
I thought I was too old too! Don't give up. You inspire me!

Dan,
you're just a youngster, I and other members are older. Remember you're never too old to learn and boy this is the program to keep the little grey cells active.
Enjoy the program and the members on this forum are very helpful.

I agree. Some of the oldest folks here are the most knowledgeable and helpful. You'll get the hang of it!

Old-- what's old???? No one is old here!!
I think it's wonderful you learning new things, wish I could get my Mom to even use a computer.
That was very nice of your daughter, obviously she knows you'll get the hang of this real quick. and have loads of fun learning.
Looking forward to seeing what you can do. Everyone is here to help.
I type SLOW-I still look at the keyboard!! :)

Never too old my friend! The learning process is the same in elements for old, young, and in between. Go get 'em!!! And have faith in yourself. Here in Australia it's a popular belief that learning new computer skills helps ward off the dreaded 'old timers disease'. View the learning process as a good preventative medicine in that case:)

Contact Senior Net, they are all over the country and offer computer lessons and photoshop lesson for a very reasonable fee. And then come and teach me! KB
