ODBC error message

Can you explain what is causing the following XP error message:

"The ODBC data source reported the following error: (internal error: data not found)"

Photoshop Elements 3 was getting digital photos from my Lexar compact flash card and reader. PS Elements 3 would not gather the photos and the above error message appears. I have a Dell Inspiron laptop, WIN-XP.

You may want to go to Microsoft and download the latest database update it may solve the problem. ODBC is a database error BTW.

Welcome to the forums... :)

Do you have a Canon camera..? There were compatilibity problems reported a few weeks ago between Canon cameras and Lexar compact flash cards...

Wendy,

It affected Lexar cards and the following Canon cameras: EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1D Mark II, EOS 20D, EOS Digital Rebel (300D) and Digital Rebel XT (350D).

Basically it caused some files to be corrupt or lost altogether. Lexar release a firmware update to cure it....
