I often make make two scrapbook pages called a "spread". I use the same backgroound and embellishments for both pages to keep the unity. When I print out the pages on my Epson RX500, the two pages do not have the same shades of color even though I use the exactly same graphics. Does anybody know why?

Hi jchow and welcome to the forum
That is a very strange thing to have happen - can you tell us what printer you have and what paper you may be using? I don't know if that will help find the answer but it may help. :)

Hi Mary. I use Epson RX500 printer with genuine Epson ink cartridges and Epson Premium Glossy Photo Papers. I don't know if the printer software has automatic adjustments to my change the brightness and contrast of my layout.

Wow - this is a real puzzlement. If you save them as two files and print one right after the other there should be no changes in the printed outcome. Were they both started from a blank document or did you alter an existing document for one of them?

They are two separate new documents. The graphics are "copy and paste" into the documents with no size adjustment. Both documents have the same resolution, 300 ppi.

Ok - my last wild guess :) Check each item that you are copying and pasting into your documents. In the Image | Resize | check the resolution of everything. If there are any differences in resolution change them ahead of your copy and paste.
Ok one more "last" guess. What file format are you saving these two images in. If it is jpg try tif or vice versa for printing - just make sure they are the same. :)
