What am I doing wrong? I cant save the video tutorials. Running XP on a PC. I am using instructions posted by Mike in March 2005. I have been successful with three other videos, but not the one on Page Curl.
Any thoughts. I have wandered through every file I can find, but nothing.
Is the full version of Qucktime worth it - about now, I would say yes - to stop this frustration. Jean

The easiest and best way I have found to do this is before watching the video go to tools > internet options > delete files.
Then watch your movie.
Go to tools > internet options > settings > view files.
You should see your movie there. Select it. Copy. Go to the file where you want to save it. Paste. After you do it a few times it will get routine to delete the files first. It makes it much easier to select the movie without wading through a pile of stuff. Also I did find that if you temp folder is full the files won't appear there. I spent an afternoon watching some tuts in order to save them and they didn't appear because the folder was full.

For some reason I have found that if I don't close the movie after watching it all the way through, I can't seem to find it in my temp files. :)

Mary ...
On the Mac I can't save it until I have closed the file ...

Well I always close the movie file when I'm done watching it and then go to the temp file and save it. Maybe that is what is causing your problem?
Also I make sure I watch it the whole way through so that it's fully down loaded.

On the Mac I don't even need to watch it ... just set it running, close the window and then save it :)
