Ever have that question that noone will answer because noones on?
Ever just wanna talk to someone?
Do you wanna have a fun time with people you know for 2 hours each night?
Well now you can!
I got pemission from Tami to do this and I think its a good idea.. My moms group does it and I think we should start it.. One night a week we do a group chat it doesnt matter who joins as long as we get aleast 5 people there each time. I made the group on msn its just for chat only so join up if you can and join me for it!

This sounds like fun, but have you figured out how the time of this chat would work in that there are people in other countries which makes for different times (GMT) by as much as I believe 6 hours or so.
I wouldn't want to be up at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning (PST) trying to chat. Just a thought. :?

Hi there ...
Well I am in the UK and time zones do make it difficult ... when the rest of you are gathering on the forum its really time for me to go to bed. I do have to admit that sometimes I am still here tapping away at 2 a.m. :)

Great idea.. I've been trying to think of a way to do it .. never thought of the group chat web based thing. I was thinking Irc or maybe one of the instant messaging systems..but that involved downloading more stuff for some people
I didn't vote cuz any day can be good or not so good. There really isn't a perfect day for me.
One thing that may work, would be a friday night or saturday maybe early afternoon/late morning, this should help accomodate the out of towners

Thomas,
Don't forget, you need to come wash my car now.... well if it doesn't blow away that is
If you guys decided to do this perhaps you could throw up a post if you are going to cover a certain topic or if it's just a free forall chat:)
Also if you learn some really cool trick or nice piece of info, maybe you could post what it was so members that are unable to join due to time differences can hear about it too?
I could see about sweet talking the webguys into another topic area.. What we discussed in chat or something :)

I really thank you all for these Ideas because I came into this chat thing just by it being a chat idea not thinking of time zones or anything like that.. Tami if you can sweet talk you web guys I would appriciate it.. hey maybe I will even call up!!! Will too funny!!! Gary I love that Idea and I think we are going to do that... I will put another try to put another poll up about it and see what people like! Tami if you could try for me if we do get this thing going put a Sticky on the General Ideas saying about the chat.... Hmmm
I think there should be three more options ... Saturday, Sunday, and Not Interested.
I am one of those that don't like chat groups. I get very confused with the many threaded conversation on chat groups. Instead of being able to follow them I shut down, become quiet, and soon with draw. On the other hand I sometimes talk one on one and do like the friendships I have made that way.
Grant ... just one man's opinion
