Premiere Elements 2 or Vegas Movie Studio+DVD

I'm very new to video editing, and am trying to find the right program for
me. For anyone that's used both of these program what are some of the
differences between the two. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you will go to the Adobe users forum under Premiere Elements I think you will find someone who's used both. If I'm not mistaken someone asked that same question a few days ago over there and was given an honest, unbiased opinion. Too bad they recommended Vegas over Premiere. Oh well, I really like Premiere 2 and probably won't use anything else.

I may even take the tutorial some day soon. I feel pretty good with the program as it is but you can't beat the price !
