What size and resoulution should I make the images in the slide show if they are going to be projected onto a big screen? We have a projector at work (I do not know what kind) connected to a computer that is used for powerpoint presentations and I would like to have the best quality images possible for this. I am useing PSE 3.0. Thanks in advance for your help.

When you are displaying anything digitally - monitor, digital projector etc the resolution is limited to less than 100 dpi. If you are lucky enough to have a projector that costs in the 1,000's you might achieve more than that. I work on my photos at high resolution and then save for the web if I am going to use them digitally.
Has anyone else experienced something different? :)

Funny that this questions pops up.. My boss just discovered last Friday, to his great dispair, that the resolution of our projector is 800 x 600. Anything bigger is cropped or blury. I always assumed these would match what's out of the VGA connector... but no no no!
So, the first order of business would probably be to check with I.T. (or whatever department is responsible for the projector) and ask them what is the resolution of this beast, just to make sure you don't prep 50 slides at 1024 x 768 and discover than they need to be resized... (in the case of my boss, too much small text prevented a good resizing.. it was back to the drawing board for him, and endure the long face for us.. hehe!)
Then, build you slideshows at 72 pixels per inch (standard monitor resolution), it'll be just fine.
