I am confused

As a newcomer to the village I am unable to understand some of the content due to abbreviations.Still convinced a PET where I will find pictures of Dogs,and a thread is part of my boiler suit. Is a translation of abbreviations available?

Welcome to the Village! I see you are from Thailand so if English is not your native language it must be doubly confusing! We are pretty good on this site at spelling things out but still many acronyms slip in. Please ask if you don't understand.

Welcome ot the village.

Here are a few that we tend to use around here.

PET was mentioned
PE or PSE ... Photoshop Elements (version numbers apply)
ACR ... Adobe Camera RAW (Adobe's Raw image editor built into Elements and Photoshop)
PS ... Photoshop (version numbers apply)
CS ... Creative Suite (newer versions of Photoshop a bit confusing in that there is a whole list of programs that are the true Suite we tend to refer to CS as the standalone Photoshop)

These are more specific to this site. The ones Julie posted are general forum acronyms.
