Okay this is beyond ridiculous in the weather department. It is 62 degrees and sunny. A front is coming through and it is raining in a nearby town now, on the way here. We are under a tornado watch and they say we could see severe thunderstorms. However, when the front passes in an hour or so the temperature will drop 30 degrees. It is supposed to begin snowing and drop to a low of 14 degrees by midnight. What the heck is going on?????? Winter, spring, summer or fall.... all you have to do is go to St. Louis!

Don't feel bad...I'm in Tampa and the weather has been going up and down. One day it's in the high 50's and the next in the 70's. Up and down all the time is frustrating here. But...we haven't had a tornado alert since the last storm which was about a week ago. Not in our area though.
Maybe it's all over...everyone has been getting wacky weather lately.

Nancy,
I know (us having grown up there)--my brother was telling me yesterday about your weather forecast--as he was keeping tabs on his in-laws.

Okay - here is the weather map from this afternoon. We had a record high temp of 71 today and now are expecting a low tonight of 10. A 61 degree drop in about 9 hours!!!! The wind is blowing about 40 mph too so the wind chill is below zero. A tornado hit a school south of me right about the time this radar was captured. I went to lunch in shirt sleeves and left work in a near white out of snow, though the roads were so warm it only stuck on cars and grass.

Nancy - we had the weather coming your way yesterday: high of 61 Monday then woke to 8 degrees F and snow on Tuesday. It did get as high as 12 . Yikes - gotta be hardy to be a Midwesterner.

I just got home from helping at the homeless shelter. The weather was just awful. the wind is blowing so hard it was hard to keep the car on the street. The snow with the wind is almost a complete white out. The guys who came into the shelter were just glad we were there with a warm bed and a hot meal for them. the temps was only 3 degrees but with the wind chill it was way below zero. Really weird weather. I am just frozen. I am just north of the Wisconsin/Illinois border.
