Hot Keys Fail to respond in PSE 6

Is anyone else having problems with their hot keys (keyboard short-cuts) in PSE 6? I've always been a heavy user of hot keys/quick keys in MS word, excel and have learned an extensive list for PSE. I just upgraded from PSE 5 to version 6 and periodically the hot keys don't get any response. I use the mouse and menus for the command and then the hot keys start responding again. It's not a show stopper, but happens often enough to be very annoying. I'm running a fairly new laptop with VISTA and 2GB of RAM. I don't think it's a memory issue. Any ideas?

I know the survey is screwed up, but I can't edit or delete it!

Just an observation -- your survey questions are mis-worded.

Your question is: Do your hot keys work?

Your responses are: Yes, they do not - or - No, they do.

Given that, I would not expect your survey to result in any meaningful observations, if you get any responses.

I would have to say, mine seem to work most of the time. I don't use all of them that often so usually when I have a problem it is something I am doing.
