Hi, everyone. Is there a way to keep settings for new files sticky? Suddenly, when I choose File > New, I get files that are in Grayscale, (not RGB) and in odd sizes that bear no relationship to files I've previously edited or opened. I have to change every new file back to RGB color and modify size.
I looked through Edit > Preferences but didn't find any default settings.
Ideas?

Hi Val ...
I'm pretty sure that it picks up the last one that you created or the last thing that you copied (Edit>Copy) so could it be that you have been working on a grayscale image ??

Nary a grayscale in the bunch. That's why it's so odd.
Yesterday, I'm back to RBB color again, but now with a white background.
At least I'm remembering to look before I blindly click "OK" on the new image dialog box...

That happens to me too every now and again-and I don't even remember ever working in grayscale. But it does make you look and check that the settings are what you need them to be...:)
