disc error

Hello everyone. After edited photos and sizing, I then click save file as and a window pops up and says error occured when accessing the organizer . It may be in use by another or a disc error may have occured. Has anyone had this problem and what can I do to correct it? Help, please!! :confused: :confused:

Have you tried rebooting your computer? Also when opening PSE immediately hold down the Shift+Ctrl+Alt keys to reset PSESettings Files click Yes.

You may also be seeing that you cannot open an image from the organizer into full edit during this time. You have to reconnect the organizer with the editor by recovering the catalog. This is NOT restoring the catalog.

Hold down the control key when you open the organizer, then you will have a dialog box ask if you want to recover the catalog. Okay that then the recover will begin. It may take awhile and seem to freeze at the 33% and 66% marks. Leave the room....go have a drink or coffee or a nap. Just do not get anxious if it takes longer than you think it should. It will eventually finish and open the organizer.

I find that in version 5 I had to do this every so often.
