i have waited for a place to ask questions and not feel stupid and you kind folk

answered my last one and it worked a dream and so here goes another i followed the directions for installing the downloads for chrome and wendy's parchment deckle edge and the chrome one does not show in the styles layer palette and the deckle edge does not either in the custom shapes any idea what i have done wrong. i did restart my element 5 but it still does not show.
I need to load the new style when i open elements 5 do i as when i did so in photoshop on my husbands computer the styles were there

Hold down your shift key while Elements is loading. That should take rebuild the styles and effects.

oh thank you so much you solved my problem, i held down the shift key and i can now see the added layers and styles, you are all awesome, for helping a newbie. I so want to get into digital scrapbooking but cannot afford because i am on disability to constantly buy kits so am trying to make odd embellishments myself.

Here's a great site that has pages and pages of whole kits for free, all the papers and elements to match. Lots of them are very nice and you'll get such a variety you won't have to buy any.
