I'm an old Photoshop user since 1.0 so picture resolution isn't anything new to me, plus I've been in the printing trade for some time. I'm running Windows Vista on a Sony laptop that has all the right graphics cards etc.

Here's the problem. I can view any files, high or low resolution, in Windows Media or Sony's application as a slide show and the quality is great. There is no stairstepping or jaggys. However, when I bring the same files into Elements to make a slide show they look horrendous. I've checked out all I could with no luck.

Needless to say, any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks Donald in Worcester Mass

Donald,

What version of Photoshop Elements are you using? If you have just Photoshop Elements how do you intend to output it?

What files are you bringing into Photoshop Elements? Jpeg stills, wmv video, other?
