I'm an old Photoshop user since 1.0 so picture resolution isn't anything new to me, plus I've been in the printing trade for some time. I'm running Windows Vista on a Sony laptop that has all the right graphics cards etc.
Here's the problem. I can view any files, high or low resolution, in Windows Media or Sony's application as a slide show and the quality is great. There is no stairstepping or jaggys. However, when I bring the same files into Elements to make a slide show they look horrendous. I've checked out all I could with no luck.
Needless to say, any help would greatly be appreciated.
