A question about font size

Hi all, just wondering about font size. If I have a layout and then put text on it in say a size 12 font, will it print out the same size as one would expect in a normal document? Can't test it out, my printer still out of action after my computer crash. thanks

Toni,

For certain results, go into Preferences, Units and Rulers. Chage the Type setting to use Pixels instead of Points.

This will ensure that your type will display on-screen with the same proportion it will print. Using Points, you can end up with different results.

Toni - if the proportion of the font to the page looks fine on the screen, I cannot imagine that you would not be happy in printed form. However, if you need to have a specific font size on your page - that's another issue.
