PSE 6 ...Which will be better MAC or PC?

Which platform will run this software the fastest? Mac or PC?

I'm contemplating buying a new system, possibly a MAC. So may be also getting CS3. So trying to figure out which platform to move forward on.

Opinions appreciated.

I don't have the answer. Just wanted to mention that Adobe says Elements 6 for Mac will not ship until the end of March:

Apart from Juergen's extremely valid point, there's no sensible answer to this question phrased as widely as this - you'd need to compare a specific Mac with a specific PC spec.

Since they now run on the same processors, I doubt there's a whole lot of difference like for like. But a Mac/PC platform decision isn't just about speed, I'd have thought.
