Can someone direct me to a thread about sizes...I wanted submit a pic to a magazine, it asks for size 50k-75k, but then says it will need a 1mb pic if chosen...i dont have any pics that are 1mb. Is it just a resizing thing?

What sort of camera do you use ???

My Canon, when its set on best quality jpgs, takes photos that are around 3MB.

just a sony cybershot H2. I can see where some of my photos are well over 1mb, and some are not and im just wondering why seeing as how i take them all on the same quality and size settings.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 is a 6MB camera, should produce JPEGs at 2 - 3 MB file size if set to the highest quality and pixel dimensions:

• 2592 x 1944
• 2592 x 1728 (3:2)
• 2048 x 1536
• 1280 x 960
• 640 x 480
