Rotating Images: Version Sets

I appreciate grouping edits into version sets. However, if I have 20 pictures to rotate because of the improper import from a camera (just assume it happened), I need to open each version set and remove the incorrect original, 20 times!

Is there a more efficient way? Could version setting be turned off? Or batch-process the sets to keep the latest only and delete older ones?

Just select the images you want and chose "Edit > Version Set > Flatten Version Set". This will delete all but the most recent version of a set.
