hexidecimal color

I would like to enter a hex # for my color but cannot. I have clicked on color picker but do not see the # option. My color picker just says "color" at top and I can only enter RGB. How do I change this setting?
I have PE5.

Hi

I think you are using the windows color picker.

Go into preferences and change it to Adobe.

I am using 6 right now and it is in

Edit>preferences>general at the top of the screen.
