Blackening in corners of eyes

Hi:
On editiong some images in PSE 6 I get black corners in the eyes of the bject. See attached pictire , any idea as to how to get rid of this?

I know what causes the problem but not sure how to fix it It is from the auto fix red eye. when you open the photos in the organizer. Check and see if you can turn that feature off.
