I just found this free (for now) beta plugin for photoshop and tried it in E5.
http://fantasticmachines.com/store/index.php?cPath=24
Sample here.. the brush effect was the plugin and the lines I added.
(basically a desaturated "find edges" layer set to overlay)
Edit: It may be for windows only .. not sure .. sorry.

That's beautiful - sort of like an illustrated drawing. hmmm..... thinking.....would be a good way to make some scrapbook elements. ;)

Have a look at it. It has a wide variety of presets, all adjustable, plus. it is a plugin so a bit easier to install.
8bf file goes in your plugins folder and the ini goes in your windows folder.

Will this work for PSE 6.0? If so, how do you install it?

Hi
I haven't tried it yet in 6..likely later today.. it is really cold outside so a lot of inside play time.;)
Close elements, find the "plugins" folder (the files end in .8bf)
for me in 5 it is here
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Plug-Ins
Unzip the download or just open the zipped file and put the plugin (.8bf file) into your plugins folder.
There are two other files in the zip one is a readme and the other ends in .ini
put the .ini file into your c:/windows directory and restart elements.

Gary,
So many adjustments, a person could spend hours with this plug-in alone.
Japan05,
If you can find the Plug-in folder in PSE6 go ahead and put it in, if it works great if not just delete it

I only played with a few presets and moved some sliders. Way to much to grasp in the morning.:D
I just got the link last night from a posting on PhotoCamel.

Thanks Gary,
I had to go and look but I have this on pse3 and forgot about it. Here's a newer plug-in by the original developer. I tried it in pse3 and in cs2- it has an installer and a bit bigger preview. I found out about this on Retouchpro but haven't messed with it much yet.
Here's the plug-in

and here's the thread on retouchpro
