Benny I took a run through your gallery. I am very impressed with your use of light. I know just enough to realize that I have a lot to learn, but your work is inspiring.

My mission is to learn others how to make such photos.
I don't like manipulation, but if the camera can't shoot an image of the real life,
then we have to adjust the photo so it become as seen on location.
In order to show others how to do it, they have to download some
of the stuff on my Homepage. Anyhow, my mission would fail if only few people would like to download that stuff. It maybe because they can't/won't pay the USD$ 20, or they don't know about my stuff (its a new website), or simply because they know better, etc... ;)
Benny,
BTW. Since its the same object (the building in the background), the same description
that I used later, could be used also for this image.
The only difference is the building to the left of the
King Christian 4th castle, is more clear than on my night photo.
You can almost see the Germans walking outside the left building.
Fact is that the building to the left, was headquarters of SS under second word war.
The location is only few 100 metre from my house :)
Kolding (name of city)
hus (house)
The ruined castle Koldinghus, somehow reconstructed and just around the corner, was built by King Christian 4th. After the royal palace burnt in 1808, he moved from Kolding (Denmark) onto a small island near Sweden (Copenhagen, somehow negligible outside the mainland). Tourists like to shoot it, which is ok as long they don't pass me with a longer lens than on my camera...
