Stop Updating PSE6

Can anyone tell me how to stop PSE6 from automatically updating everytime I open the program? I've seen how this forum works, so I'll just say thanks now for the help

After the update runs, you should see a window that has two buttons. Click the Preferences button to open the window that is shown below. Remove the check next to "Automatically check for Adobe updates" to completely stop any automated updates or click the drop-down field to change the frequency. Click the OK button.
