Okay, I'm going out on the limb here and I'm going to wrap Thomas' knuckles for rushing his assignment. Thomas this is supposed to be your "best shot" and I know you could do much better than this. You rushed your assignment, naughty boy. The puppy is cute, but he disappears into the background because he is dark and so is the background. You should take this challenge and get a better picture of the puppy. Photographing a black dog is tough because it's easy to loose their features. I would like to see you take this as a challenge and show me a much better picture of this puppy!! Take the puppy on his own, outdoors makes a better picture. Lay down on the ground at his level so you aren't looking down at him. If you go crying to your Mom, make sure you show her what I wrote and show her your picture and she will tell you the same thing I did.

Thomas

Surely you know we like teasing you. Truthfully I wouldn't mind having you as my grandson. Your an inspiration to the youth of today. How you manage school and the work you are doing here is amazing.

Keep up the good work.

Dorrie

Oh yes, I'm sure you will be teased some more.

Gary, I was thinking the same thing myself!! I was going to do something else, as you have all seen enough of him. I could enter my friends new puppy (German Short Haired Pointer) who's picture I took last night. We'll see. I tried getting my other friend's cocker Spanielle puppy to do a nice pose but she was like the tazmanian devil whipping around my back yard today. Now if I could enter video.......I have a good one from her chasing Shilo around.

Yes Thomas, you're a good kid. I just like teasing you a bit. I wouldn't mind if my daughter brought home a boy like you. At least then I'd know he wouldn't be here ALL the time, he'd spend some of it on his hobby!

Hi Jodi - great picture - I always got a lift when I would see that V flying south at this time of the year. Did you just happen onto them or did you hear something that drew you to that place?

Thanks Mary ! We are always surrounded by geese here. There is a large pond in one direction and another small lake in another. They fly back and forth all summer long and they do hang out in the farmer's field next door but usually they are alot further away accross the field. This morning I did hear them and happen to spot a wing flappin' through the trees that seperate my land from the farmers. I wasn't really sure if they were all there but decided to grab the camera and sneek over through the woods to see. They were pretty close but they saw me and and all started woddlin' in the opposite direction. I grabbed a few shots while I could. I was kind of hoping they'd all fly off at once so i could get a nice action shot but i guess i wasn't enough of a threat...they just kept woddlin' away...heads up looking at me.
