Borders and Egdes

Do any of you use a program with pre-made borders and edges effects?

I know some effects can be done with brushes, but I would like to have a short cut to making the edges different, such as swirls, lines, scollaps, etc.

I have another one that was free- Alien Skin Splat LE I just googled for it but can't find the free download perhaps someone else will know where to find it. It probably does more of what you were asking about than the one I gave URL for.

I tried to download the first one, but cannot get it open after it is extracted.....the sample looks like something I would like to try. I will try again to get it open. The other one...Alien.... is expensive....cannot find a free one or a trial one.

What version of elements do you have? I amusing PSE 5 and sometimes I use the cookie cutter tool to get interesting edge effects. Just make sure when you use the cutter tool you do not work on originals, always make copies to work on.

I am using PSE 5 also... I have played around a little with the cookie cutter...I was just trying the AAA frames that I downloaded for the first time ... I found a link to on here LOL .. Yes, I never use an original.. I am very new to this but I do remember not to do that ...
Thanx for the tip on the cookie cutter.... I'll be sure to try that cookie cutter too now & then..
