Resizing multiple photos at once

I just did six photos at once that I wanted to make all the same size, and it seemed to work fine, but I've got a question (naturally).

When I resized them using File > Process Multiple Files I am apparently forced to do an entire folder all at once. Since I only wanted to resize six photos out of about fifty, I had to create a new folder and move those six photos to that folder. Do I always have to do it this way, or is there a way that Elements will allow me to just browse and pick groups of files within a folder itself?

You can open the intended files all at once in the Editor -- then when you invoke the Process Multiple Files command, at the top of the dialog, you can select "Opened Files" as the Process Files From option.
