USM Preview Window

Occasionally, when I activate the USM filter, I get a totally white preview window. No matter how much I move the cursor around, or zoom in and out, it stays the same. There seems to be no consistent pattern to this occurence, except that it happens most frequently after cropping or resizing down. This has been a problem in both Elements 2.0 and 3.0.

Hope someone can help, as this is quite annoying. :(

I used to have similar problems while running the programs with 384 mb of ram. I installed an extra 512 and now all is well.
