I just received the DVD titled :The Best of Elements Techniques" and I can not get it to launch. I have a DVD drive, I double clicked on the projector icon, title page comes up BUT when I click on table of contents all I get is a red box with an X in it and nothing happens.
Got any ideas?

Hmmm
Strange.. mine worked fine and on an older computer at at that.
I can't remember what format the movies were in. Can you browse the DVD to the movies folder and watch from there (not using the menu front end)?
I have loaned it to my niece so I can't try it. Hopefully someone else has an idea.

Check the read me file and it will give you the proper instructions to launch the DVD . I can't remember just how it went but that should take care of it.

I've tried both suggestions with no relief.
Does anyone know anything about QuickTime? That is the only resident program that I am having difficulty with. Could this be the culprit?
I went on line and downloaded a current version of Quicktime, now when I click on the projector icon I get an error stating that there is an error in loading my macromedia projector! I have sent info to Microsoft about this but have not heard back (should've bought a Mac!).
Help

OK, Mine acts up too, but here's what I do. I open MY Computer, left click on the drive your DVD Player is. (mine is E) When it opens left click on the PET best of Exe logo and it should open just fine.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. I finally was able to download QuickTime and the DVD launched just perfect.
