Can someone please tell me the correct size to scan photos to put in a slideshow or video. I would like the photos to take up the full screen but I don't want them to be cut off or distorted. Can I just crop them to a specific size? Thanks for any help.

Hi George,
When viewing a slide show or video on TV your images will be 720x480
for NTSC format.
Depending on how many images you plan to use, I scan them at the highest
resolution to get the best image quality.
Higher resolution = larger file size which = less pictures on the dvd but better
quality:)
Also with higher res you can zoom up and pan across images and they still look great.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask :)

Tami thanks for the reply. I will be scanning the photos that I will use, should I size all of them to 720 X 480?
